Why new born baby cries and how to handle it.

The most possible reasons why babies cry.

1. Hunger.

2. Baby didn't Poop (Toilet).
3. Diaper or clothes which tied is wet.
4. Too cold or too hot.
5. Needs sleep.
6. Stomach problem with gas.

    1) Hunger: For the new born babies need to feed every 2 hours, its good if you feed 10 - 12 times per day for first 6 months, If milk is not sufficient then you can give lactogen 1 and its not good to give lactogen always, try to avoid as much as possible. If baby cries a lot for continuous then only give lactogen.

How often should you feed your baby per day
     0-6 months  : 10 -12 times/day
     6- 9 months : 6 times/day
     9 months >  :  4 times/day

Note: it is safe to breastfeed your baby if you have a fever. if you are in close contact with your baby, your breast milk might protect your baby from catching the infection from you.

    2) Baby didn't Poop: The new born babies some times take 6 to 7 days to do Poop (Toilet). Its good if it poops every day

After 7 days if baby didn't poop then you can try the following. (But not recommended daily)
    • Doctors suggest to buy Gerbisa 5mg Suppository from medical shop it cost around 9 rupees, Place it in the backside of hole and press the tube, after 2 - 4 hours baby will poop. And it should not be used daily, It should be used only once if the baby didn't poop for more than 8 days.
    • Take small piece of Basella alba (Basale Soppu), at the bottom of basella put Castor oil and place it in the backside of hole and it is not recommended daily
    3) Diaper or clothes which tied is wetAfter feeding a baby, the baby will pee within 1-3 hours depending on babies age and overall health,Your baby's urine should be colorless or light yellow and doesn’t have a strong smell.

When baby pees it usually cries, it is the sign for us to change the diaper or wet clothes.

If your using clothes then please have more 50 pieces of clothes and please use dettol while washing clothes.

    4) Too cold or too hot:In the early months of life, most babies have difficulty maintaining the appropriate body temperature. Because babies can easily become too hot or cold.

You'll need to help them stay comfortable by using the following guidelines:
If your baby is sleeping comfortably and feeding well, and is calm and not too cranky, then the baby is probably the appropriate temperature. You can also check to make sure that the baby extremities — like hands, feet, neck and head — are neither hot nor cold to the touch. As a rule of thumb, an infant needs one more layer of clothing than an adult would wear at the same temperature.

    5) Needs Sleep: Babies usually cries for sleep. She may have trouble finding that confidence that she can do this without you getting out of her way a little bit and “letting go.” Stay with her to encourage and support her through the transition, if you wish, but don’t keep “holding on” to avoid her crying. We all need to fall down sometimes to learn how to get back up and it’s part of growing up. Only you can decide the “right” time for her to learn to sleep on her own. There can be the most of the time the first few nights are the worst and things can get ten times better after that.

    6) Stomach problem with gasGassiness is especially common in newborns between 1-4 months due to the immaturity of their digestive systems

    • Feeding Techniques: Burp baby after every feeding.
    • Physical Therapies: Tummy massage and bicycling baby's legs
    • Gas drops: doctor recommends colicaid drops to prevent gas from baby.
